MIAMI — A new NBA season is quickly approaching.
On Monday, the Miami Heat held their annual media day at Kaseya Center.
Following a tumultuous and drama-filled summer and season a year ago, the Heat are coming off of a relatively quiet summer as they prepared to embark on a new journey behind Head Coach Erik Spoelstra.
One player who had a busy summer was Heat forward Nikola Jovic.
He had a great offseason playing international basketball and told Local 10 News’ Clay Ferraro that he’s entering the new season with something to prove.
“I feel like I’ve always got stuff to prove to the team, and I think it’s a good thing,” said Jovic. “Because every year is different, so as long as I’m proving that I can play and I should be on the court, that’s the most important thing.”
Ferraro’s full report from media day can be seen at the top of this page.
