FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — The Florida Panthers announced several roster moves on Monday as the team continues through the preseason.
Florida is assigning defensemen Evan Nause and Ludvig Jansson, as well as goaltender Kirill Gerasimyuk, to the AHL’s Charlotte Checkers.
All three are under contract with Florida and expected to spend the season in Charlotte.
Additionally, goaltender Evan Cormier, who was at training camp with the Panthers on a PTO (professional try-out), is also heading to the Checkers, where he will join their training camp.
Florida’s camp roster now sets at 52 players.
The Panthers are set to host the Carolina Hurricanes on Monday night at Amerant Bank Arena in a preseason matchup of last year’s Eastern Conference Finalists.
