MIAMI — The Miami Heat have locked up one of their young key players.
Per reports, the Heat and forward Nikola Jovic have argreed to a four-year contract extension worth $62.4 million.
The news was first reported by ESPN’s Shame Charania.

Jovic was selected in the first round of the 2022 NBA Draft by Miami.
He averaged a career high 10.7 points last season, his third in the NBA, while playing just over 25 minutes per game.
Miami plays their first preseason game on Saturday when they face the Orlando Magic in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
