The reigning Major League Soccer Cup champions, Inter Miami CF, will begin their 2026 Champions Tour preseason Saturday in Peru.

Miami will face Alianza Lima, the second-most successful club in Peruvian soccer history. Alianza has won 25 First Division titles and an international competition, the Copa Simón Bolívar.

The match marks Inter Miami’s first appearance since its victory over Vancouver in the MLS Cup final and its first game without veterans Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba.

Several offseason signings could make their debut, including reigning MLS Goalkeeper of the Year and Canadian international Dayne St. Clair, Brazilian center back Micael, Spanish left back Sergio Reguilón and Argentine defensive midfielder David Ayala.

Inter Miami will play three additional matches during its South American preseason tour.

On Jan. 31, the club travels to Colombia to face Atlético Nacional, the most decorated team in Colombian soccer history. Atlético Nacional has won 18 Colombian First Division titles, two Copa Libertadores titles, two Copa Merconorte titles, two Copa Interamericana titles, seven Copa Colombia titles, four Superliga titles and a Recopa Sudamericana.

Miami will then head to Ecuador on Feb. 7 for a matchup against Barcelona de Guayaquil. Barcelona is one of Ecuador’s most historic clubs and holds a record 16 top-flight league titles. The match will mark Inter Miami’s first-ever meeting with an Ecuadorian club.

The preseason tour concludes Feb. 13 in Puerto Rico against Ecuadorian champions Independiente del Valle.
