MIAMI — The Miami Heat were hoping for luck in the NBA draft lottery, but it didn’t come.

The Heat ended up with the No. 13 pick in the 2026 NBA draft.

The Heat sent legend Alonzo Mourning to the lottery reveal on Sunday.

Mourning came back with the exact spot the Heat were expected to be at.

As for the No. 1 overall pick, that went to the Washington Wizards.

The No. 2 pick went to the Utah Jazz and the No. 3 pick to the Memphis Grizzlies.
