MIAMI — The NBA will not be takin any action regarding the recent altercation between Miami Heat’s Bam Adebayo and Milwaukee Bucks’ Tyler Herro.

That’s according to ESPN’s Shams Charania, who has been covering the incident since it occurred on Friday in Las Vegas.

Charania spoke to an NBA spokesperson, who told him, “After discussing with the players involved and the NBPA, everyone would prefer to move on from this unfortunate circumstance, and no further action will be taken by the league.”

Adebayo and Herro were teammates for seven years in Miami.

Herro was included as part of the trade that brought superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo to the Heat.

In the wake of the trade, a fan released screenshots of direct messages with an account allegedly connected to Herro in which he criticized Adebayo’s play and questioned if he was worth the contract that he’d signed with Miami.

The altercation occurred after they were made public.

Neither the Heat nor Bucks have commented on the incident.
