PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. — Open carry is now the law of the land in Florida, or is it?
An appeals court ruling this month called Florida’s ban on open carry unconstitutional, but that was one ruling on one case in one district.
After that, Florida’s attorney general all but said the ban had been lifted statewide, and that anyone legally permitted to carry can do so openly in public without fear of arrest.
That did not stop the questions about the changes.
Coral Gables Police Chief Ed Hudak joined “This Week in South Florida” host Glenna Milberg to discuss, and their conversation can be seen at the top of this page.
