PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. — The U.S. Ambassador to Panamá is straight out of Miami-Dade County.
Kevin Cabrera was confirmed to the post six months ago, and from day-one, found himself involved in some of the U.S.’ biggest diplomatic issues there: President Trump’s threat to take back the Panama Canal, and a reverse flood of migrants suddenly shut out of the United States.
