PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. — Florida Chief Financial Officer Blaise Ingoglia has been dropping budget bombs of waste and bloat in local governments across the state.
This week, Ingoglia was back in South Florida, with his sights set on Miami-Dade County, blasting the country in similar fashion to the kind of treatment Broward County received a few weeks ago.
Miami-Dade County has 13 county commissioners but only one of them was at Ingogloa’s waste and bloat announcement.
Local 10 has learned most of the others were not invited.
One that probably should have been was the commissioner who chairs the county’s appropriations committee, Raquel Regalado.
In separate interviews, Ingoglia and Regalado joined “This Week in South Florida” host Glenna Milberg to discuss, and their conversations can be seen at the top of this page.
