This Week in South Florida: Mike Vigil

Former DEA Chief of International Operations Mike Vigil joins TWISF

PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. — The strikes and the deaths continued last week in what the Trump administration calls a war on drugs and trafficking in the Caribbean.

So far, 15 vessels that we know of have been struck, killing a reported 64 people.

Clearly, Venezuela’s dictator president Nicolas Maduro is a target. Indicted as a cartel leader, a $50 million bounty has been placed on his head.

Mike Vigil is the former Chief of International Operations for the Drug Enforcement Administration. He joined “This Week in South Florida” host Glenna Milberg to discuss, and their conversation can be seen at the top of this page.
