Man sentenced for kidnapping rideshare driver, forcing him to drive from Texas to South Florida

A man who kidnapped a rideshare driver at gunpoint and forced the victim to drive from Texas to South Florida last year has been sentenced to more than 12 years in federal prison, the Department of Justice confirmed in a news release Thursday.
