An officer with Homestead PD that had been previously alerted to the subjects’ scheme, observed them in the act and called for backup. They have been identified as Yordan Ramirez, 42, Ivan Perez-Garcia, 55, Eric Gonzalez-Pando, 24, Francisco Alberto Guiterrez, 50, and Ermes Gonzalez-Pando, 43.

Fernando Morales, who is also a spokesman for the department, said Tuesday that Kanaiya was last seen at her foster parents’ home. No other details were released. HOMESTEAD, Fla. – A Miami-Dade firefighter responded to his own home Tuesday in Homestead while on duty and found his wife dead inside a bedroom. “Now they have to determine why and how that happened.”A GoFundMe page identified the victim as the wife of Firefighter Corey Logan. “Corey has been a firefighter with Miami-Dade Fire Rescue for over 20 years with almost all of those years here at Station 6,” Morales wrote. “Corey has been his wife’s caretaker for many years as she has advanced Lupus among many other medical conditions,” Morales wrote. “We did our job and put the fire out and searched as fast as we could but were too late,” Morales wrote.

HOMESTEAD, Fla. - A missing 2-year-old Homestead girl has been found after an Amber Alert was issued during her disappearance. Jesmine Cedillo-Ramirez was located Thursday night and police reunited the girl with her mother after her biological father, Diego Cedillo-Hernandez, took her without permission, according to police. Homestead police said there was some kind of domestic incident that happened, but what that incident was, they did not elaborate. The Amber Alert was then issued for the girl.
