In response to Local 10 News’ investigation into the eviction of Fort Lauderdale restaurant Salt 7 and its ongoing payroll issues, Seminole Casino Coconut Creek has announced a special job fair aimed at assisting displaced employees.

Fort Lauderdale upscale restaurant Salt 7 has officially been evicted from its prime location at Icon Las Olas. The eviction, carried out early Tuesday morning by Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies, follows weeks of controversy over unpaid wages and bounced checks.

Some employees at the high-end Las Olas restaurant Salt 7 say they have not been paid, accusing the owner of issuing excuses and bouncing checks while the restaurant faces imminent eviction.
