A 29-year-old migrant mother was behind bars Friday after Miami Beach police officers reported finding her 8-year-old son alone in a room at Hotel Chelsea in South Beach.

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – A woman is charged with attempted second-degree murder after a stabbing on Friday in South Beach, according to Miami Beach Police. Witnesses said two women were fighting near the intersection of 14th Street and Washington Avenue early Friday evening. According to Officer Ernesto Rodriguez, a spokesman for the Miami Beach Police Department, officers found a woman injured near the intersection of 13th Street and Collins Avenue. The suspect, later identified as Bradley, was nearby, according to Rodriguez. Miami Beach Fire Rescue took the victim to Jackson Memorial Hospital, where she was in stable condition.

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – Three people were shot Sunday night and Miami Beach police are searching for a dark-colored SUV that they said fled the area after the shooting. Washington Avenue was shut down for hours between Sixth and Ninth Streets as detectives combed through evidence. Miami Beach police said around 8:41 p.m., they received several 911 calls about a shooting along the 700 block of Washington Avenue. Officers responded and found a man wounded in front of The Licking restaurant at 754 Washington Avenue. One man is in stable condition and the other is listed in critical condition at Jackson Memorial Hospital, according to Ernesto Rodriguez, spokesman for the Miami Beach Police Department.

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – Three women from Ohio were robbed Friday morning a block away from busy Washington Avenue in Miami Beach. The armed robbery was caught on camera as the women walked on 15th Street around 7:06 a.m. The women told Miami Beach police that a white car playing loud music pulled up and that’s when a man, later identified as Tajani Shepard of Fresno, Calif., got out of the car and pointed a gun at them. That’s when MBPD made a traffic stop of a white car playing loud music, according to police. Shepard is charged with armed robbery with a deadly weapon and is being held without bond.

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – A day after a man was stabbed to death on Miami Beach, police have made an arrest. Keyon Marquis Wilds, 24, of Baltimore, Md., was taken into custody at a Washington Avenue hotel for his involvement in the 2:30 a.m. Saturday homicide. Miami Beach police are searching for other suspects who were involved in the attack. She then said 4 people, two men and two women, took off east towards Ocean Drive. Miami Beach police detained Wilds for questioning and, the arrest report says, that during his statement, he gave various accounts as to his involvement.
