DAVIE, Fla. — Davie police said a downed power line has forced the closure of Volunteer Road in all directions Saturday afternoon, though no crash was reported in connection with the incident.
Officers responded to the area and confirmed there were no injuries or collisions.
Police said crews are working to resolve the issue and the road will remain closed until further notice.
Drivers are urged to avoid the area and use alternate routes, including Dykes Road or Hancock Road.
