A car crashed into a canal Friday morning in southwest Miami-Dade, and one person is now out of the water, first responders confirmed to Local 10 News.

An elephant at the Milwaukee County Zoo needed some assistance to get off the ground. Ruth apparently could not get up on her own, so a front-end loader with hay provided a little push Tuesday to help the animal out.
