Krome Avenue closes in Miami-Dade after crash, rescue

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — Krome Avenue closed southbound at Southwest 122 Street on Wednesday morning in Miami-Dade County.

Firefighters responded to the crash at about 6:10 a.m. to help a person in a sports utility vehicle after a crash with a tractor-trailer.

Firefighters removed the SUV’s top and took the person injured to a nearby hospital.
