A Heat Advisory has been issued for all areas in South Florida today from 12-6 PM as heat index values rise to the 105-110℉ range. General high temperatures for the day will reach the low-to-mid 90s for the East Coast metro. Isolated locations may see slightly higher values, particularly areas in the interior and closer to the Gulf Coast. Some extra shower and thunderstorm coverage is expected later in the day, mainly after 3-4 p.m., and primarily scattered coverage for interior areas. Rain chances return starting tomorrow as winds will help push storms towards the metro coastal areas. Keep it tuned to Local 10 for more.
