A Heat Advisory has been issued for Broward and Miami-Dade counties from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. with heat indices reaching 105-110 degrees for 2 hours or longer. Take breaks inside as air quality is hazardous to unhealthy for much of Broward. Wildfire smoke is reducing visibility across portions of Broward County. Smoke from inland wildfires is currently impacting portions of metro Broward County early this morning. Visibilities along roadways may be reduced to 5 miles or less at times where smoke is densest. A northwesterly wind flow today is expected to continue sending smoke across this region. Motorists should exercise caution along smoky roadways.
