PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. — The weather forecast for South Florida on Saturday includes a 40% chance of afternoon showers and a 50% chance of evening thunderstorms.
After a sunny early morning, the hourly forecast shows the risk goes from isolated thunderstorms to scattered thunderstorms at 3 p.m., and it decreases at 7 p.m.
The areas that have been saturated by rain, including Hollywood in Broward County, could be more prone to flooding again on Saturday afternoon.
Low pressure is trying to organize off the east coast of Florida and will help pull in some drier air, which will act to reduce the rain chances during the next several days.
