Drier air moved into South Florida on the back side of Hurricane Imelda, bringing slightly lower humidity, blue skies, and a very low chance of showers. Most of Tuesday will be dry, with just an isolated shower or two possible around or after sunset.
Wednesday will be a transition day to a wetter weather pattern. An area of higher moisture will begin to move over South Florida, bringing spotty showers in the afternoon. Daily afternoon storms are expected Thursday into the weekend. No day looks like a complete washout, but scattered storms are likely at times. High temperatures will return to the 80s.
