A picture-perfect start to the week across South Florida! Sunshine, lower humidity, and comfortable conditions take over today, with only a slight chance of a stray shower — most spots stay dry. High pressure remains in control, keeping things calm and pleasant.
By Tuesday, that high strengthens to our northwest while a front lingers near the Florida Straits. This will tighten the pressure gradient, bringing in a breezier setup and a gradual warm-up through midweek.
In the Tropics:
Tropical Storm Jerry has dissipated, and we’re now watching Invest 97L, an area of thunderstorms with a 70% chance for development over the next seven days. Early models show it recurving back out to sea — no threat to Florida. In the short term, we’re in the clear!
