It will be another warm day, with highs in the mid-80s. Expect a decent amount of cloud cover along with a few pop-up showers, though most areas will stay dry. Temperatures will climb even more over the weekend, reaching the upper 80s and coming within a degree or two of record highs.

The bigger change arrives next week, when a strong fall front moves through on Monday. The core of the cooler air settles in by Tuesday morning, with lows dipping well into the 50s. By Tuesday afternoon, temperatures will struggle to reach the low 70s.
