Nov. 27: Showers, storms could disrupt Thanksgiving afternoon plans

Our Thanksgiving Day will be an interesting one, with warm, humid air giving way to scattered afternoon showers and storms. It’s difficult to pinpoint where the strongest storms will develop, but everyone has at least some chance of having to take their outdoor turkey dinners indoors, especially between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.

A cold front will drop our highs from the mid-80s today to the mid-70s by tomorrow. Drier air will move in for Friday and Saturday before showers and possible thunderstorms return to close out the holiday weekend on Sunday.
