It was a beautiful day with highs only in the low/mid 70s, decently below average for December. We have another weak front moving through that will reinforce the cooler air tonight. Expect lows in the upper 50s near the coast and middle 50s inland. Highs will stay in the 70s on Friday too despite the sunshine.

The next chance of rain will not arrive until late Saturday so the first part of the weekend will be dry. Showers and even some thunderstorms will be possible Saturday night and at any point in the day Sunday.
