Jan 4: Possible Sunday Showers

A weak front will be moving through South Florida today getting us a 20% chance of a passing shower or two.

If you’re headed to the King Mango Strut Parade or the Las Olas Art Fair today you might want to strap along an umbrella just in case. Leave the jackets home however as westerly winds ahead of the front will boost our highs to near 80 degrees.

There’s no significant rain in sight through the upcoming week although a shower or two might move in off the ocean as the flow becomes more easterly this week. Temperatures will run a little above normal through the week with highs near or just over 80 each day.

There’s no more arctic air in sight through the next 5-7 days with our next cold front not due to arrive until later next weekend but it’s too soon to say how cold it’ll be (if at all) with that one.

Have a great week ahead!
