Jan. 10: Get ready for a rainy pattern shift in South Florida

Get ready for a pattern shift as a front ushers in showers across South Florida starting Sunday. The front will sweep through the region late Sunday, with isolated showers possible ahead of it. As the front stalls over the region from Monday through Wednesday, rain chances will increase as the week wears on.

Sunday will feature a near-record high of 83 degrees (record: 84 in 2000). By Monday, highs will reach the mid-70s.
