It’s still somewhat of a gloomy day with an occasional batch of showers moving through. High temperatures will stay in the 70s so we are on track for a typical January afternoon. It will be anything but that when our next front plows through Thursday afternoon. We will start feeling some effects Thursday evening with chilly air rushing in.
Friday morning will be the coldest with lows in the middle 40s. A breeze that blows away your body heat making it feel colder will send the wind chill to the 30s for many neighborhoods. This is on track to be the coldest air we’ve felt in at least three years. Frost is even possible in parts of the Everglades. The chilly weather will stick around into next week, especially at night.
