Jan. 15: Cold air about to rush into South Florida

The cold front has moved through South Florida and the cold air is about to rush in. We hit our high temperature in the low 70s this morning and we are already starting to drop. By 5 p.m. we will have our first 50s on the map. Our forecast low temperatures for tomorrow morning is 43°. This is the coldest air we’ve felt in 4 years. A Cold Weather Advisory is in effect for Broward and Miami-Dade counties with a wind chill well into the 30s.

We’ve been getting a few showers along the front today, but that will completely clear our later this afternoon. Other than a stray shower this weekend, there is no meaningful chance of rain into next week.
