We woke up to the coldest air in years with temperatures in the low 40s and some inland spots dipping to the 30s. Highs this afternoon will struggle to climb through the 60s, even with full sunshine. We will have a warming trend this weekend with afternoon temperatures well into the 70s. There could be a stray shower or two, especially on Saturday, but most will stay dry. The second cold front moves through late Sunday with another shot of chilly weather for MLK Day. Highs will barely reach 70°. Prepare for temperatures in the 60s for the start of the college National Championship game at Hard Rock Stadium. We will be nearing the 50s by the end of the game.
