It’s another gloomy day with plenty of clouds and scattered showers possible at any point. Perhaps we can squeeze out a peek or two of sunshine later on today in a few spots with highs staying in the 70s. Afternoon temperatures in the 80s return tomorrow into the weekend. We could actually reach record high temperatures in the middle 80s on Monday ahead of our next cold front.
A massive winter storm with crippling freezing rain and double digit snowfall totals will move through much of the Eastern U.S. this weekend. This is the storm that will drag our next cold front through South Florida late Monday. This will give us another cooldown starting Tuesday with overnight lows reaching the 50s again.
