Get ready for another blast of chilly Arctic air to move into South Florida this week. It will follow a trailing cold front associated with a massive winter storm wreaking havoc across the eastern half of the country.
The front is expected to move through Monday afternoon. Ahead of it, a few scattered showers are possible. However, the cold air behind the front will be pronounced.
Monday afternoon will feature near-record warmth, with highs in the mid-80s. By Tuesday morning, temperatures will drop into the lower 50s. Below-normal temperatures are expected to persist throughout the week.
