Happy Valentine’s Day! It’s also a long holiday weekend full of outdoor events and activities, so we’re hoping for good weather.

If you have any plans to take your sweetheart to dinner this evening, or maybe you’re headed to the Coconut Grove Arts Festival, the weather looks user-friendly with only a 10%-20% chance of showers today and tomorrow, with highs near 80 degrees falling into the lower 70s this evening.

A front is on the way and will bump up the rain chances Monday morning before clearing settles in by afternoon, but any rain we see won’t have any meaningful impact on the ongoing drought.

Next week looks dry and warm with highs in the 80s, so the drought will likely worsen with time.
