February 23: Clear and cold

Clear and cold; that is the perfect description for weather throughout Florida Monday night. Miami-Dade and Broward counties can expect temperatures to drop to the low 40s overnight as northwest winds funnel dry, chilly air over the region. The Keys can expect low temperatures on either side of 50°F.

Metro Broward and Miami-Dade should be prepared for wind chill values in the mid and upper 30s early Tuesday morning. The day will feature plenty of sunshine and north winds, sustained 5 to 10 mph. Temperatures are forecast to reach the mid-60s; that’s nearly 15 degrees below average for this point in February.
