Feb. 27: Showers and storms possible as February ends

Spotty shower or thunderstorm aside, especially in the vicinity of Palm Beach county, the weather will not be overly tumultuous for South Florida Friday night.

Miami-Dade and Broward counties can expect partly cloudy skies and very mild conditions with overnight low temperatures near 70°F.

Saturday will feature sunshine, scattered clouds and south-southwest winds with the possibility of late-afternoon storms. A storm that produces damaging wind gusts or hail is not completely out of the question. Temperatures are forecast to reach the mid 80s.

Sunday will bring a sun/cloud mix and north-northeast winds (sustained 5 to 10 mph, gusts to 20 mph).

Showers will be possible. Temperatures are expected to peak in the low 80s.
