Mar. 6: Nice, warm weekend, can’t rule out occasional, passing showers

This March weekend will be a warm one for South Florida and nice enough for outdoor plans!

Friday night features partly cloudy skies and the continuation of an east breeze for Miami-Dade and Broward counties and the Keys. The breeze could carry a few Atlantic showers across the area.

Saturday and Sunday will bring similar conditions: sun/cloud mix, east winds (sustained 10 to 15 mph, gusts to 20) and the occasional, passing shower -- especially morning or late-night. Temperatures will run a few degrees above average with highs forecast to reach the low and mid 80s and lows expected in the low and mid 70s. Rip current risk remains high through the weekend.
