Mar. 8: Mild night ahead with stray showers possible; better rain chance later this week

After a pleasantly warm afternoon, temperatures will remain mild throughout the night. Winds will continue to flow from the east-southeast. With this setup, an occasional shower can’t be ruled out, though most neighborhoods will remain mostly dry.

We’ll kick off the workweek with highs in the mid-80s. A stray shower can’t be ruled out. This pattern will continue through Thursday, when our next front is expected to move through and bring a better chance of rain to the region. Temperatures will moderate closer to normal, with highs in the lower 80s.
