Mar. 15: Rain fades tonight; cooler, dreary weather ahead midweek

After a day of soaking rain, showers will continue to fade this evening. Overnight temperatures will fall into the lower 70s.

Monday will bring another warm day with highs in the mid-80s. As moisture continues to stream in from the south, isolated showers will develop in the afternoon. With a cold front approaching the region, we will have a better chance of rain Monday night into Tuesday morning.

The front will stall south of the region Wednesday and Thursday. Conditions will be cooler, dreary and a bit gusty those days. Expect highs in the mid-70s with northeast winds gusting up to 20 mph.
