High pressure continues to be the dominant weather feature across South Florida. This high continues to feed hazardous winds out of the east. This strong east wind is causing dangerous surf and a high rip current risk along our local beaches. Avoid getting the water, if you are going to venture in, swim in front of a lifeguard.
While we saw a few sprinkles this Good Friday, rain chances are set to pick up this Easter weekend. We will watch a stray shower on Saturday with a better chance of isolated showers on Sunday. A cold front will bring scattered showers and storms starting Monday into Tuesday.
