May 2: Cold front to bring scattered showers tomorrow

Strong southwest winds fueled record heat across South Florida. Today, Miami reached 94 degrees -- that shattered the old record of 93 degrees. A cold front is on the move, and it’s set to bring scattered showers in the morning and afternoon. Downpours could lead to localized flooding. Up to 1 to 2 inches of rainfall will be possible. Up to 4 inches of rainfall cannot be ruled out. Rainfall will cool our atmosphere. Highs will range in the mid-80s Sunday.
