A nice, hot Mother’s Day weekend is in the cards for South Florida.
Miami-Dade and Broward counties can expect mainly clear skies Friday night with temperatures forecast to drop to the mid and upper 70s overnight.
Saturday will feature plenty of sun and southerly winds. Temperatures will make a run for the low 90s -- factor in humidity and it could feel like the upper 90s.
Mother’s Day will bring partly cloudy skies and a gentle, southeast breeze. Plan for morning low temperatures in the upper 70s and afternoon highs in the low 90s with heat indices in the upper 90s. A stray, afternoon shower or thunderstorm is not completely out of the question.
