While a few passing showers cannot be ruled out this evening across the Upper Keys and southern Miami-Dade County, drier air aloft is working to significantly limit rainfall this weekend. Temperatures will fall into the upper 70s overnight, with near-normal highs on Sunday. Expect temperatures in the upper 80s and low 90s.

As winds stream in from the east, the rip current risk will be elevated Sunday. It is important to swim only at guarded beaches.

Get ready for a resurgence of deep tropical moisture this week. Widespread showers and storms are expected to return by midweek. We will continue to monitor the potential for downpours that could bring rounds of heavy rain.
