Aug. 2: Slow-moving storms could bring localized flooding Monday

After a round of showers and storms this afternoon, a stray shower cannot be ruled out overnight. Lows will fall into the upper 70s and lower 80s.

Monday will feature a round of early showers near the Florida Keys, with another round of rain and storms in the afternoon. Because the storms are expected to move slowly, localized flooding cannot be ruled out. Highs could reach the lower 90s, with heat index values climbing into the triple digits.

Plan for unsettled weather to continue into Tuesday.
