August 12: More of the same, very hot and humid

There could be a shower or storm over parts of South Florida early Wednesday evening. For the late-night, Miami-Dade and Broward counties can expect scattered clouds and light to calm winds. Temperatures are forecast to drop to 80°F overnight.

Thursday will bring more of the same: sunshine, scattered clouds and hot, humid conditions. Temperatures are forecast to reach the low 90s with the heat index topping 100°F. Spotty storms could “pop” during the afternoon, particularly inland.
