Sep. 4: Labor Day Weekend: off & on storms

Outdoor plans this Labor Day weekend are likely to be interrupted by soaking storms.

Spotty showers or a random thunderstorm are not completely out of the question for South Florida on Friday night. Otherwise, clouds will linger over Miami-Dade and Broward counties as muggy conditions persist.

There could be spotty showers along the east coast Saturday morning, followed by more storms during the afternoon.

Sunday morning will offer some sunshine, but storms are expected to develop during the afternoon.

Labor Day also will feature off-and-on storms.

Temperatures are forecast to reach the low 90s each afternoon.
