Sept. 8: Heavy rainfall, localized flooding will be main concern

Back to school and work -- grab your rain gear as we will see a rinse and repeat forecast today. Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms are expected. Some storms this afternoon could be strong to low-end severe. There will be breaks in the storms for highs to reach the lower 90s. Please remember “When thunder roars go indoors”.
