September 14: Warm, humid, chance for showers and storms

Though a hit or miss shower/thunderstorm is not completely out of the question on Monday night (especially inland), the weather will not offer much drama for South Florida. Miami-Dade and Broward counties can expect scattered clouds, light winds and muggy conditions. Temperatures overnight are expected to dip to near 80°F.

There may be a hint of Saharan dust passing over the area on Tuesday. Otherwise, the day offers a sun/cloud mix, east-northeast winds (sustained 5 to 15 mph) and the possibility for showers and storms, particularly mid-morning and early afternoon. Temperatures will be seasonable with highs forecast to peak near 90°F.
