Air Force One landed at 12:25 p.m. at Miami International Airport, and Trump got into “the Beast” at 12:40 p.m. and arrived at the arena while Tony Robbins, a life coach, was on stage.

The crowd cheered when Trump stood behind the podium. He marked the anniversary of his reelection to a second term, and he listed his achievements, which included “the biggest regulation cut in history.”

Trump also slammed the “reckless Democrat shutdown” and attacked New York City Mayor-Elect Zohran Mamdani, who identifies as a democratic socialist.

“If you want to see what congressional Democrats wish to do to America, just look at the result of yesterday’s election in New York, where their party installed a communist as the mayor of the largest city in the nation,” Trump said and he also added, “We lost a little bit of sovereignty last night in New York, but we’ll take care of it, don’t worry about it.”

The president was optimistic about inflation, as some economists have expressed concerns that tariffs will end up having an impact on the consumer price index.

“Prices are coming down very fast, and we’re bringing them back to the beautiful part, where you can have, and you can truly say, we’re talking about the American dream again,” Trump said.

Suarez gave Trump a key to the city.

“Your leadership and your vision have shaped not only our nation, but also the future of our city,” Suarez said.

A joke followed: “This is a key that opens some really nice presidential library real estate,” Suarez told Trump.

Marvin Dunn, a Florida International University professor, filed a civil lawsuit in Miami-Dade County to stop Miami Dade College’s land transfer. Miami-Dade County Circuit Judge Mavel Ruiz granted Dunn a temporary injunction. MDC and Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier are appealing.
