Heritage Fest 2026

Art of a Spiritual

This is a concert experience that explores the foundations of African American spirituals: songs born in bondage that helped shape the nation’s music, faith, and collective conscience. The performance features the Florida Memorial University Ambassador Choral, New Canon Chamber Collective, Angel Refus?, Isis Roberts, Wayne Bumpers, Lady of Harp and Brandi Moore, honoring tradition while offering fresh interpretations of timeless works.

South Florida Symphony Orchestra’s Black History Month Performances
