PLANTATION, Fla. — Cancer patients, survivors, and their supporters joined the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life on Sunday in Plantation.
Tamke Wardlaw said the fundraiser was an opportunity for her to stand in solidarity with her father, who is undergoing treatment.
“He is doing better, thank God,” Wardlaw said. “He is actually in Baltimore, Maryland, and I am just happy to support him.”
Wardlaw joined a team of 30 other walkers who all donated in honor of Wardlaw’s father, who has survived
